"Face Pass" Biometric Recognition Kicks Off at Naples Airport

The biometric facial recognition system was launched today for passengers on Lufthansa flight LH 335, departing from Naples to Frankfurt.
This new technology enables passengers registered at the "Face Pass" kiosk, located at Lufthansa's check-in counters, to access biometric pathways both at security checkpoints and the boarding gate. Boarding is self-service and requires only a facial scan, eliminating the need to present a boarding pass or ID documents.
